The TerraSAR-X Services Portfolio is complemented by sophisticated SAR application training courses that prepare users for a capable application of TerraSAR-X data and products. The courses are designed to specifically acquaint users with the benefits, advantages and usefulness of radar data in general and TerraSAR-X’s data in particular.
Infoterra offers three SAR application training courses differing in their level of detail and degree of difficulty:
SARIntro is a standard introductory course for first-time users of SAR imagery. It addresses image interpreters with a basic knowledge of digital image processing of optical images.
SARTrix is a training course focused on advanced analysis methods. Its contents are compiled according to individual customer requirements, including topics such as image processing, image intelligence, interferometry, polarimetry, and many more.
SALSAR is a training unit specifically designed for the geospatial intelligence community. A dedicated focus is laid on Sea, Air, and Land related objects in the field of defence and security.
