TerraSAR-X and the upcoming (2009) twin satellite TanDEM-X, are highly sophisticated satellite missions jointly implemented by Infoterra's parent company EADS Astrium and the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) within a Public Private Partnership (PPP).

Infoterra offers regular specials, making current TerraSAR-X data or geo-information products available online, enabling users to evaluate the latest data and developments.

The scientific use of TerraSAR-X Data is coordinated via DLR's TerraSAR-X Science Service System, designed for the submission and evaluation of proposals, reports, and progresses through the science community.
