TerraSAR-X High Resolution SpotLight Acquisition of Basel, Switzerland. In the centre of the image St.-Jakobs-Park Stadium is visible, where Germany defeated Portugal in a captivating game, and hopes to also beat the Turkish team in the upcoming semi-final on June 25th. The stadium has a capacity of 42.500 seats. A total of 16 teams have participated in the tournament which is co-hosted by Switzerland and Austria - three will follow Germany into the semi-finals by then end of the week. Besides Basel further venues are Zurich, Berne and Geneva in Switzerland and Vienna, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Klagenfurt in Austria. |
