Amplitude Change Detection map of Baltimore Harbour based on three high resolution  TerraSAR-X SpotLight acquisitions (1m resolution) recorded on August 12th (red), August 23rd (green) and September 14th (blue).

This image is an example of Infoterra's Amplitude Change Detection Product (ACD). The Colour Composite of Mackenzie River Delta, Canada, was derived from three TerraSAR-X StripMap acquisitions (6.6m resolution) recorded on September 21st (red), October 13th (green) and 24th, 2009 (blue) respectively. At this time in fall the river delta starts to freeze up and the initial build-up of ice on the Beaufort Sea commences, which can be seen nicely in the image.

On November 17, 2008, the MV Sirius Star, with 25 crew members on board and a full load of 2 Mio barrels of crude oil worth at least US$ 100 Mio,  was hijacked by Somali pirates southeast of the coast of Kenya.
