For the first time, we have actually expanded our on-site operating range to the launch pad today.

EADS Astrium electricians have checked the cable connections between the launch vehicle and the batteries - crucial for monitoring the status of the satellite's battery after integration and for any recharging that may become necessary.

The charging of TerraSAR-X's batteries was completed today; tomorrow afternoon we will begin mounting the spacecraft on the rocket adapter.

In the silo, the launcher's booster stages are being preared for fueling...

TerraSAR-X is scheduled to be launched at 04.14 hrs CEST on Friday, June 15th, 2007.
